MODERN MAGIC IN DITCHLING. Wedding magic, corporate entertainment, private events, mind reading and stage work from a Brighton-based Magic Circle magician.
MAGICIAN IN DITCHLING
Ditchling sits at the foot of the South Downs, close to Brighton but with a distinctly rural village feel. Its pubs, country settings, nearby vineyards and small event spaces lend themselves to weddings and private celebrations where close-up entertainment can move naturally between groups.
For Ditchling events, close-up magic and mind reading can work around drinks, dining and photos without needing a stage. For larger country-house or organised events, Phil can also build in a stage set.
Phil is a member of The Magic Circle with 10 years’ experience and 200+ five-star reviews. The style is modern, direct and built for real guests — not a glittery waistcoat and a stack of old jokes.
WHAT ARE YOU BOOKING?
Choose the event first. The format follows.
Wedding bookings can be built around the natural gaps in the day: reception drinks, photographs, the wedding breakfast or the evening. Wedding magician and host options are also available.

Birthdays, dinners, house parties and milestone celebrations work well with close-up magic that can move through the groups already there without dominating the evening.

Networking, awards, dinners, launches and client events can use walkaround close-up, table magic, mind reading or a stage set depending on how the audience is arranged.
Explore corporate magician →
When everyone is seated together, the material changes. Phil uses stage-scale visual magic, mind reading and audience participation rather than stretching close-up tricks across a room.
